Electronic manufacturer PoleZero wins $72M order
A Butler County electronics manufacturer landed $72 million in work over the next three years to make products for the U.S. and Australian military.
West Chester-based PoleZero Corp. was awarded the contract late last week to make nearly 300 antenna interface units. The deal combines purchases for the U.S. Navy and the government of Australia.
This order will provide an influx of work for PoleZero, which will also be good for its suppliers as well the local economy.
PoleZero — which makes products that shield communication equipment from high interference levels — has about 150 employees. The company, which has about 87,000 square feet in West Chester, opened in 1989 and was sold to Illinois-based Dover Corp. in 2007.
