Harris Corp. lands $74M radio order
Harris Corp. received $74 million in orders to deliver its Falcon tactical radios to an international customer.
The radios will be part of the country’s tactical communications modernization program, addressing a range of communication requirements. In addition, that nation, which was not identified, will receive Harris Corp.’s manpack radios to help establish crucial communication links for beyond line-of-sight environments.
“Our tactical radios form the backbone of critically important systems that enable forces to communicate by voice and data in a range of missions, including defense and homeland security,” said Brendan O’Connell, president of tactical communications at Harris RF Communications. “Harris offers the world’s most advanced digital HF radio family that delivers highly reliable and secure communications for missions that require beyond-line-of-sight capabilities.”
