Pegatron ships 650,000-700,000 notebooks in March
Pegatron shipped 650,000-700,000 notebooks in March 2015, growing 30-40% on month, and 2.0-2.1 million units in January-March, decreasing 20% on quarter and 20-30% on year, according to the company.
Pegatron saw its overall capacity utilization in the first quarter drop from the preceding quarter and expects it to further drop in the second, the company said. Second-quarter operations will mark the lowest quarterly level in 2015, Pegatron indicated.
Pegatron recorded consolidated revenues of NT$86.615 billion (US$2.76 billion) for March, rising 25.02% on month and 25.99% on year, and NT$273.949 billion for January-March, slipping 22.16% on quarter and 25.24% on year.
