Raytheon Missile Systems Awarded $559M
The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) awarded a large number of work contracts on Thursday, highlighted by a $559. 2 million not-to-exceed sole–source undefinitized contract action (UCA) with Raytheon Missile Systems.
More specifically, the Missile Defense Agency deal bestowed to Raytheon Missile Systems anticipates “a hybrid contract structure containing fixed-price incentive firm, firm-fixed-price, and cost reimbursable contract line items,” according to the DoD.
The deal tasks Raytheon Missile Systems with acquiring 44 standard missile-3 Block IB all-up rounds (AURs) as well as other actions. The company will also produce and deliver third stage enhancements for the third stage rocket motor reliability growth/design.
