Strong Growth Ahead for Connector Industry
The global connector industry is forecast to reach $65.7 billion by 2019, according to the latest report from Lucintel, a global management consulting and market research firm. The big growth drivers include 3C applications (computing, communication, and consumer electronics), miniaturization of electronic devices, and increasing electronic content in end products.
The report "The Global Connector Industry 2014-2019: Trend, Profit, and Forecast Analysis," provides an analysis of the global connector industry including trends, competitive landscape and growth drivers by region and industry. The report finds that consumer electronics and industrial connector segments will show the strongest growth over the forecast period.
